We are not really as bad as the above heading makes us sound. In fact, we are very happy to respond to questions or requests (including exchanges of data) from people who give or have given us financial and/or other support, who have supplied us with scientific and other relevant data, and/or who are asking questions that are of interest to us and not just to them. However: our usually cheerful smiles tend to freeze and our manners (never the most polished at the best of times) can get brisk when we are reqested by people we have never heard of, who have never donated anything or who are not members of our Association to supply data or to make changes to our web-site because they do not agree with something. We have found out the hard way that such people never feel a corresponding urge to return the favour. We now simply refer this type of inquiry to this entry paragraph and forget about it, or ignore the message altogether. You have been warned. |
This site incorporates the work of a few dedicated and unpaid mugs. There are no salaried executives on bonus schemes, no golden parachutes or handshakes and no huge corporate structures with headquarters designed by over-rated star architects featuring executive dining rooms and swimming pools on the roof.
All information we put on this web-site can be accessed free of charge and downloaded for uncommercial uses. Anything more and you must have something to offer in return.
