A Message to our Readers: The Redesign and Expansion of our Web-site wwww.andaman.org goes on... ... and there will be only a few minor new uploads on this Web-site before the new site is ready for upload. We hope this to be late in this or early next year. As any reader of Alexander Pope (i.e. most of our readers) will know: "hope springs eternal in the human breast". We are reorganising our site from scratch. Over the last 10 years its structure has grown in a way that could politely be described as "organic". You, dear reader, won't have noticed this much (I hope!), but it was making life increasingly difficult for us. Something has had to be done about it - and we are doing it now. We are not only changing the structure and design of the site but also adding quite a few new chapters plus a site-map to aid navigation. Some of this is already done (but not uploaded), others is still scattered all over the place while still more is merely a twinkle in our collective eyes. ...and now : no more idle chatter and back to work!
