Mysterious Sentineli
Nobody has been able to establish more than brief and usually distant contact with the Sentineli tribe.Until today they remain the world's most isolated and least-known people. Attempts at "friendship visits" complete with gift giving (coconuts thrown at them or onto their beaches from boats, as shown in this video-sequence) have lead nowhere over the years. The Sentineli remain self-confidently, self-sufficiently unapproachable. Since the tsunami of Christmas 2004 this attitude has become even more marked.
