APPENDIX P

The Jarawa Report

The Indian Supreme Court judgments handed down in the early 200s (see Appendix N) demanded scientific research to be carried out and the results to be published. The main reports are not published yet (2006) but a set of Annexures to the Jarawa Report containing a great deal never before published material has become available to us and we are happy to publish this material here for the scientific community.

We have added tables of contents to some of the Annexures and tidied up the often somewhat uneven layout, spelling and typography - but we have not changed contents or meanings from the original. George Weber has also added a map and statistical charts to Chapter 7 in 2006 (published only here and not part of the official report).
