Three India-based societies (SANE, Kalpavriksh, BNHS) have taken the Andaman and Nicobar administration to court on a number of major points - and have won some signal victories.

The relevant court texts can be made available here for the three major cases. We are grateful above all to Samir Acharya of SANE (Society of Andaman and Nicobar Ecology) for making the publication of these texts possible and for being the major driving forces behind these Cases.  

The appendices to the scientific report on the Jarawa tribe ordered by the Supreme Court is published on this web-site under Appendix R. The main body of the report is not published yet.
